Soap and Glory One Heck of a Blot Powder

Powder is a make-up bag essential, right? I love a matte finish to my makeup and therefore i'm always looking for a good, long lasting but non-cakey formula. I had heard such good things about this translucent powder so I decided to give it a whirl.

I absolutely love the packaging - it's fun and retro and is really handy for touch-ups on the go. It clicks shut and is a pressed powder meaning it doesn't fallout everywhere whilst you're applying it.

It seems I am becoming quite the S&G fan, this blog regularly posting reviews of their skincare and cosmetics. It really is just such a good company. When Boots' new offer on Soap and Glory started (BOGOHP) I was obviously there. This time I picked up the One Heck of a Blot Powder (review coming soon) and this Sexy Motherblusher stick.

Okay I have a confession - I really dislike lipgloss or gloss sticks. I feel like they're such a waste of money as they usually always have poor staying power and weak pigmentation. Although I've got to admit that since trying this S&G product, I'm loving them that bit more.

Let me start by saying the thought of removing makeup with anything other than a face wipe or wash freaks me out (especially if it's oily!) but I really wanted to try this... And I'm glad I did.
