Recently, I was browsing Superdrug and it lead me to discover Makeup Revolution - a very affordable and high quality line of makeup. Here are some of the things I picked out to try...

Primark's Velvet Matte Lip Crayons
A few years back, I bought a pink lipstick from Primark. It was very inexpensive and was a gorgeous, deep fuchsia shade which received lots of compliments and naturally I used it all up. So when I spotted the same shade in a new product, I was automatically interested.
A NARS Yachiyo Artisan Kabuki Brush DUPE?
In love with the NARS Yachiyo Artisan Kabuki Brush? Me too, but £43 is a lot to spend on a brush, right? Well at least I think so.
Revlon Colourstay Moisture Stain
I have a bad relationship with any type of lip product that isn't a lipstick. I don't know what it is but I never get on well with the formula - it's always too sticky, not pigmented enough or only lasts 5 minutes.
However these (kind of) new releases from Revlon have changed my mind - I know, I can't believe I'm saying it either. First of all, I love the packaging, it's gorgeous, minimalistic and classy. It has a doe foot applicator which I usually absolutely hate but this one is so soft and gentle on the lips. Gorgeous!
The Autumn Lipstick Staple
Now that Autumn is here, it's time to dig out the deep berry lipstick shades hidden in the bottom of your make up bag. I've had this one for a while now and I think I will always love it.
The Holy Grail of Waterproof Mascaras
In a week, i'll be jetting off to sunny Tenerife with my other half (way too excited) and i'll be trying to pack light make up wise. I don't usually wear waterproof mascara but if i'm on holiday and i'm dipping in and out of the pool, I might want to make my eyes look awake without looking like a panda.
Soap and Glory One Heck of a Blot Powder
Powder is a make-up bag essential, right? I love a matte finish to my makeup and therefore i'm always looking for a good, long lasting but non-cakey formula. I had heard such good things about this translucent powder so I decided to give it a whirl.
I absolutely love the packaging - it's fun and retro and is really handy for touch-ups on the go. It clicks shut and is a pressed powder meaning it doesn't fallout everywhere whilst you're applying it.
Maybelline Colour Tattoo 24hr
I have waited so long to get my mitts on one of these - if you snooped through my eyeshadow collection, you'd find mostly browns, taupes and neutrals, so I really didn't need another. Yet here I am writing a review.
Is this the best foundation ever?
I've been on the hunt for an amazing foundation for so long now, having a flawless base is the ultimate goal in my opinion and this just ticks all the boxes for me.
Soap and Glory Sexy Motherblusher
It seems I am becoming quite the S&G fan, this blog regularly posting reviews of their skincare and cosmetics. It really is just such a good company. When Boots' new offer on Soap and Glory started (BOGOHP) I was obviously there. This time I picked up the One Heck of a Blot Powder (review coming soon) and this Sexy Motherblusher stick.
Good Things Deep Clean Blackhead Exfoliator
Recently my Clarins Gentle Exfoliator Brightening Toner ran out and I was heartbroken. Therefore; the search began for a new exfoliator and this time it had to be cheap, cheerful and most importantly do the job.
The Body Shop Honey Bronze Bronzing Powder
Having pale skin, I've always found bronzer quite daunting - I mean, nobody wants to look like a walking bottle of Tango. However, I decided to take the plunge during these summer months and buy myself a good quality bronzer to warm up my face. Here is where I introduce The Body Shop Honey Bronze Bronzing Powder.
Soap and Glory Sexy Motherpucker
Okay I have a confession - I really dislike lipgloss or gloss sticks. I feel like they're such a waste of money as they usually always have poor staying power and weak pigmentation. Although I've got to admit that since trying this S&G product, I'm loving them that bit more.
Smashbox Photo Finish Light Primer
Smashbox is a must-try brand, especially if you are into primer. Their photo finish primer is the most popular product but it comes in a "light" version which is more suitable for oily/sensitive skin so I chose that one.
Soap and Glory The Ultimelt Hot Cloth Cleanser
Let me start by saying the thought of removing makeup with anything other than a face wipe or wash freaks me out (especially if it's oily!) but I really wanted to try this... And I'm glad I did.
Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray
What if there was a way to hold your makeup in place all day and night? Well, Urban Decay claim that there is and it comes in the form of their All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray.
